How to configure Aruba IAP with spotipo cloud( firmware 6.5 + )
This guide is valid only for IAP firmware newer than 6.5 if your AP firmware is older, please follow
_For firmware versions 6.5+ site-type to use is "Aruba Central"_
Each location is represented by a Site. A site can have multiple routers (of the same type). Add a new location by clicking "Switch Sites"-> "Add New Location".

Click on the Aruba Central Icon, and create a name for the location. Click on Save.

In the newly created site, navigate to Networks tab and click on New.

Provide a name for the AP.

After adding the network, take a note on the URL, NAS ID and Secret

Connect to IAP web portal and use the New Network option.

Enter the SSID you would like to have and keep the network type as Guest

In the security tab, select splash-page type as external and add a new captive portal profile.


Next add a new auth server by providing

Enable accounting to the same server as well and use 2 min as Accounting Interval

Walled garden settings are not available from 6.5.4 firmware version. Hence use Domain ACLin case of any specific domains.

Click Finish and Save the configuration. Wait for a few minutes and then connect to the SSID you have just created to test it out.

Fill in the following details
Hostname: logme2wifi.com
URL: Generated in previous step
Port: 443
Use HTTPs: Enabled

Next add a new auth server by providing
IP Address: 34.77.150.10
Shared Key: Generated in previous step
NAS Identifier: Generated in previous step

Enable accounting to the same server as well and use 2 min as Accounting Interval

Enable Domain ACL for all the for all the required domains

Save And Test
